way, way, way overpriced for a few pieces of metal stuck together. There are no specialized technologies, no high end materials, no complicated design factors. Just some metal stuck together that any middle school shop class could easily design and construct. This is about exploiting Kindle buyers. Don’t show your ignorance by purchasing at this price.

This is very sturdy and covered with a material that keeps the Kindle from slipping. It comes apart for storage or travelling. I’d recommend it.

This stand is exactly what I was looking for and works perfectly for reading while eating or taking notes. I paid $14.99, which I think is a reasonable price for the quality and function of the stand and I would purchase it again in a heartbeat.
The stand does not sit perfectly up-and-down like one reviewer said… perhaps they put it together backwards? If the cutout is on the right like the directions specify, my K2 leans slightly backward.
